JALNA MONSOON GATHERING : 16 & 17th September 2017
Dear Servas friends,
It was indeed a great pleasure joining you all at the Servas conference in Jalna on 16-17 sept.2017.Then after spending three days in Aurangabad and Mumbai I returned to my studio in Greater noida. It was a well organised programme. Thanks to the efforts made by our dynamic NS sh.Abhay Shaha,chairman sh.Avinash Shirode,dr.Ulhas joshi and all other members of the execo.to make it a success.
Then our hosts, sh.Vijay bagadia.sh.Shyam ji,Kamal ji,sh.Amit and all other members of Bagadia and Aggarwal family who saw to it that the guests enjoy a comfortable stay and excellent food to make it a memorable event.
Sh.Suresh aggarwal ,a senior most Servas fom Jalna and internationaly known Agro- scientist inaugurated the servas conference by lighting the traditional lamp.In his inaugural speech he recalled his meetings with sh. Hari Ballabh ji parikh,the founder of Servas India and advised the present members to achieve objectives of Servas by creating an understanding and true friendship between the members and make serious efforts to take servas forward.
Sh. suresh Aggarwal was kind enough to show us around his own established Bio-tec. labs which are internationaly recognised.then after we visited his reseach oriented Farms.It was a unique experience for all of us. We were also offered delicious snacks and hot tea towards the end of the session.
During the session a web site www.servasindia.org.in was launched.now on this site,The activities of Servas India,Its Inception and history and all other updates will be uploaded from time to time. The web site is designed by a young member of servas Ms.Rupali. Similarly a news letter was also launched to commemorate 70 years of Servas International and 66 years of Servas India.
The two days conference created a deep understanding and friendship among the participating Servas members.
The day would begin with yoga and meditation programme conducted by sh.Abhay shaha followed by a swimming session and It would end with a cultural programme hosted by members itself.
